4. Courses, Certifications, and Events

✓ Course fees, unless otherwise stated, are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant within the same organization with advance notice (typically at least 7 business days).
✓ PMI reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course or event. If PMI cancels a program, participants will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
✓ Course schedules, facilitators, and materials may be updated as part of continuous program improvement.
✓ Travel, lodging, and incidental expenses (if applicable) are the responsibility of the participant or organization.
5. Payments, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
✓ Payment & Confirmation: Where fees apply, participation is confirmed only once payment arrangements are completed.
✓ Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule participation must be submitted at least 7 business days in advance.
✓ Cancellations: Cancellations with fewer than 7 business days’ notice are generally non-refundable.
✓ Refunds: Refunds are issued only if PMI is unable to deliver the program as scheduled, unless otherwise specified in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
✓ Virtual Programs: Participants must have reliable internet access, audio, and video capability as specified for the course.
✓ In-Person Programs: Organizations must provide appropriate facilities and equipment if hosting on-site training.
✓ Confidentiality: Simulation scenarios, participant discussions, evaluation materials, and debriefs are confidential and may not be shared outside the training context without prior written consent.
✓ Recording: Recording of sessions is not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing by PMI.
✓ Safe Environment: Clients are responsible for providing a safe, professional learning environment.
7. Intellectual Property
✓ All course content, frameworks, tools, materials, simulations, trademarks, and certification names are the intellectual property of People Management Institute unless otherwise noted.
✓ Materials may not be copied, distributed, modified, or reused for external training without prior written permission.
✓ Certification authorizes use of PMI materials only as explicitly defined in the certification terms.
